You said … resident voice surveys received highlighted speeding on SANDINGTON and IVY DRIVE.  Observations took place this week at both locations, no offences witnessed.   

 

You said … resident voice surveys received highlighted speeding on NORLEY ROAD the highest speed captured 39 mph.  Police warning letters have been produced for all registered keepers of vehicles exceeding the speed limit in place. 

 

WEAVER and CUDDINGTON beat team have attended CUDDINGTON PARISH COUNCIL meeting this week to discuss community concerns.  MERE LANE was raised as a speeding concern.  Speed monitoring was conducted yesterday on MERE LANE and police warning letters produced for all registered keepers of vehicles exceeding the speed limit in place.  The highest recorded speed being 26 mph.

 

Speed monitoring has also been conducted on SCHOOL LANE, the highest recorded speed captured being 37 mph.  Police warning letters have been produced for all registered keepers of vehicles exceeding the speed limit in place. 

 

School parking patrol has been conducted around WEAVERHAM ACADEMDY PRIMARY SCHOOL and THE RUSSETT SCHOOL.  No offences witnessed.

 

WEAVERHAM ACADEMDY PRIMARY SCHOOL has now taken delivery of their mini police uniforms for year 5/6 in preparation for the children passing out parade.

 

SANDIWAY LIBRARY is holding a community event for drivers over 60+ on 26/01/24 from 0930 hours.  See website to register and secure a place - NEW: Driving Safer for Longer free workshop (aimed at drivers aged 60+) on Friday 26 Jan - Cuddington & Sandiway Village Website (cuddingtonandsandiwayonline.org)

 

WEAVER and CUDDINGTON beat team attended DUTTON PARISH COUNCIL meeting to discuss community concerns.  No policing issues were raised.

 

WEAVER and CUDDINGTON beat team are looking for new CSW volunteers to join our team.  Currently we have vacancies as below

 If you have any time spare to volunteer helping to keep our roads safe within our communities, please PM your details.

 

Thank you to the member of public for attending the PCSO surgery at SANDIWAY LIBRARY safely disposing of their unwanted kitchen knives, helping to keep our ward knife free.  All have been disposed of in our knife surrender bin.
