This church is in the Parish of St. John Vianney along with St Wilfred's, Northwich and Our Lady of Fatima, Barnton.
In the years before the church of St Bede was built, Masses were offered In “The White Barn” in Cuddington and in the little school in Forest Street, Weaverham. The new church, opened in 1952, was dedicated to St Bede, a great English saint, who was born at Wearmouth in Northumbria in 673.

We are a friendly church where we seek to be 'Followers of Jesus, sharing his love with others'. We offer a varied pattern of worship and activities for a wide range of ages and interests. We seek to be relevant in both what we say and what we do in our communities, offering support to people at different stages of their lives, whether in celebration or crisis.
