Resident voice surveys have been completed around DUTTON LOCKS discussing with residents their community issues and concerns.

You said … resident voice surveys received highlighted speeding on NORLEY ROAD.  Monitoring took place this week and the highest recorded speed captured being 36 mph which a police warning letter has been issued. 

 

Engagement made at PETTY POOL COLLEGE this week.  The morning session was a classroom road safety talk to students followed by a practical road safety session where students were able to demonstrate their knowledge and personal safety understanding when crossing the college road. The afternoon session consisted of a personal safety presentation followed by a group discussion. 

 

School parking has been conducted around FORSTERS AVENUE to ensure the safety of children from WEAVERHAM ACADEMDY PRIMARY SCHOOL.

 

SANDIWAY LIBRARY is holding a community event for drivers over 60+ on 26/01/24 from 0930 hours.  See website to register and secure a place - NEW: Driving Safer for Longer free workshop (aimed at drivers aged 60+) on Friday 26 Jan - Cuddington & Sandiway Village Website (cuddingtonandsandiwayonline.org)

 

 

WEAVER and CUDDINGTON beat team are looking for new CSW volunteers to join our team.  Currently we have vacancies as below

You said … resident voice survey feedback from DECEMBER highlighted parking concerns around BEECH HEYES DRIVE, KEEPERS LANE, MEADOW ROAD and BOURNE CLOSE and LIME AVENUE.  A joint parking operation took place between CWAC safety wardens, enforcement officers and NORTHWICH NORTH PC’s and PCSO’s to address the parking concerns.  This operation will be planned every quarter to keep the continuity of safer parking around schools.
