After all of the problems caused by Covid 19 over the last two years, its looks as though life is returning to something like it used to be. There is a full season of league bowling as well as our own programme of social bowling and competitions. We are also planning an open weekend in May, when people can come along and try bowling for free under the guidance of club members.
The new season started on 28th March and carries on until late September.
Come along and have a go at bowling. We are holding an open day at our green on Norley Road on Sunday, 29th May. It starts at 11.00am and lasts all day. All ages welcome. This is your chance to have a go at bowling with the help and guidance of members from the Cuddington Bowling Club. Bring the children; there will be an area set aside for them to try out their own skills. Refreshments available all day. Ladies, no high heels please.
A great success which gave a lot of people the opportunity to try out bowling for the first time. Thanks to Ian Smith for organising the event and special thanks to the club members who helped to look after the visitors and provide refreshments all day.
Jubilee Pairs Cup competition. The first club competition of the year was held on Sunday, 15th May. Congratulations to the winners, Keith Kenyon and Steve McConnell.
President's Cup - Sunday, 10th July. More details nearer the time.
Perrett Cup - Saturday, 20th August. More details nearer the time.
The Club runs an afternoon of bowling every week (usually a Thursday) when people can come along to meet and play with other club members. It does not matter whether you are a novice or a more experienced player, everyone is welcome.
In addition to the weekly meetings, the Club will be organising several competitions during the season. They are usually held on a Saturday or Sunday and are open to all members of the club. More details nearer the time.
We have a number of teams who play in the local leagues;
