Young people aged 16 to 19 in Cheshire West and Chester will be able to travel on buses for just £1 per single journey on all local participating bus services, thanks to a new scheme being launched by the Council and its transport partners.
The scheme launches on Monday 5 October and applications for the required bus pass are open now. Using their pass, holders pay just £1 per single bus journey on participating services across the borough, giving them greater independence while helping families manage travel costs.

We are running an evening train from Altrincham to Mouldsworth, where we will head to our regular hotel, The Goshawk. This will be our last Music Train for this season, and we are going with some regular musicians for this one – HOUNDDOG BLUES have entertained us all before on the Music Train.
So, remember to let us know if you’re coming along and book your table at The Goshawk – tell them you’re with the Music Train and they will then seat you in the correct area to be close to the music. As usual, we will have a dedicated space available to all those who want to enjoy the music, but it is limited. If you want to eat you can see the menus available at www.thegoshawkpub.co.uk/menus.
Depart Cuddington station: 19:16hrs (arrival Mouldsworth 19:26)
Depart Mouldsworth station: 22:07hrs (arrive back at Cuddington 22:18)
There is no charge for the music train, just buy an ordinary ticket for your journey.
