WEAVERHAM ACADEMDY PRIMARY SCHOOL year 5/6 pupils have been formally sworn in as MINI POLICE OFFICERS at their attestation this week.  A big thank you to the anonymous member of public WEAVERHAM parish youth committee for funding this fantastic innovation police engagement programme and to parents/carers and WEAVERHAM ACADEMDY PRIMARY SCHOOL for supporting us.

WEAVER and CUDDINGTON beat team attended ACTION BRIDGE parish council meeting this week.  Pleased to report no policing concerns were raised.

Visible patrol has been made to BARMORAL CLOSE following reports of youths knock a door running.  While youths may believe this to be harmless fun, such behaviour has caused a considerable amount of concern/distress.   Further enquiries/patrol have been made to identify youths involved.

You said …. resident voice surveys highlighted concerns of youths congregating behind/down the alley at WEAVERHAM NORTHWICH ROAD main shops.  Visible patrol made from 2100 hours, no reports.

You said ….. school parking patrol has been conducted around FOREST STREET/LIME AVENUE this week.  Engagement with drivers were made and the several vehicles relocated to safer locations.  Thank you to the parents for their positive reactions helping to keep our children safe.  The negative reaction received; then this was feedback to the school in which the parent attended.  A request has been made for the school to highlight road safety/parking concerns in their monthly newsletter for all parents awareness.  Further patrols will be made in this location together with other agencies to tackle all parking concerns.

You said …..speed enforcement has been conducted on WEAVERHAM ROAD, 4 offences captured, the highest being 44 mph.  All video evidence has been processed and sent to our central ticket office to process further.
