We would like to remind everyone to take a few simple precautions to help reduce the risk of vehicle crime in our area.
Always lock your vehicle, even if leaving it unattended for only a short time.
Remove all valuables from sight, including bags, mobile phones, wallets, and loose change.
Never leave vehicle keys near doors, windows, or in easily accessible locations.
Consider using additional security such as steering wheel locks, alarms, immobilisers, or tracking devices.
If you have a keyless vehicle, store keys in a signal-blocking pouch when not in use.
Park in well-lit, busy areas whenever possible.
Most vehicle crimes are opportunistic, and taking these simple steps can make your vehicle a less attractive target to thieves.
If you witness suspicious activity around vehicles, please report it to Cheshire Police.
Thank you for helping to keep our communities safe.
Kind regards,
Crime Prevention Team
