The concert on Monday 3rd August features Alice Roberts who will give a Harp recital in St John’s church at 12 noon.
This will be followed by a soup lunch in the church hall. £15 inclusive, £5 students (under 18s free).

Alice is a Manchester-based harpist performing for bands, events and festivals in the UK and abroad. Having studied harp at both the University of Manchester and the Royal Northern College of Music, she brings the highest quality music to everyone she performs before.

Residents now need to register to visit their local Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) as part of Cheshire West and Chester Council's efforts to cut down on unauthorised use. This means that centres can be more easily and fairly accessed by residents who need them.
Registration is a one‑off process for each household. Once registered, you will only need to update your details if you change your vehicle, or you move home. Each household can register up to three vehicles, including one commercial type vehicle - automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras will identify all pre‑registered vehicles. Each household is entitled to 30 visits within any 12-month period (you can request additional visits if you use all 30 - conditions apply).

We have our penultimate Music Train coming up on Thursday 30 July and it has proved to be VERY popular! There are around 80 people who have already booked in at The Golden Pheasant so it’s going to be a busy one…..
So, if you haven’t already let us know you intend to come along, we would suggest you think twice……. there is only a finite amount of space on the train and in the pub!
Note: The final Music Train for this season is on THURSDAY 24 SEPTEMBER from Altrincham to Mouldsworth so book early to avoid disappointment!
