Music Train

We are running an evening train from Chester to Plumley, where we will head to our regular hotel, The Golden Pheasant.  This will be our penultimate Music Train for this season, and we are going with some regular musicians for this one – Lynchpins have entertained us all several times on the Music Train.

The train will leave Chester at 18:56 (Cuddington @ 19:18) arriving at Plumley at 19:35; you can join the train at any station along the line.
We will leave the Golden Pheasant to catch the 21:57 from Plumley arriving back in Chester at 22:38 (Cuddington @ 22:17).
There is no charge for the music train, just buy an ordinary ticket for your journey.

Please note: this particular Music Train has proved to be VERY popular!  There are around 80 people who have already booked in at The Golden Pheasant so it’s going to be a busy one…..

So, if you haven’t already let us know you intend to come along, we would suggest you think twice……. there is only a finite amount of space on the train and in the pub.

A few things to remember for each Music Train outing…….

• There is no charge at all to take part in a Music Train event
• If you would like to come along, just drop us an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. so we can get an idea of numbers
• Then buy a return train ticket in the usual way
• There’s a cash collection on the way back for the band – put in whatever you want
• Good food and drink is available at all the pubs
• Catch the Music Train from any station at all along the line
• Look out for the signs on the windows for the music carriage … or just follow the sound!
• If you can’t join the Music Train, come straight to the pub and enjoy the entertainment there.
