We are absolutely delighted that we have the joy of welcoming more young people than ever to Youth Club each Friday evening.  However, with the weather turning and the nights drawing in, it leaves things a bit tightly packed in the Youth & Community Centre.

So, we are going to try splitting our sessions:

6.00 -7.30 pm Fridays - we will be open for Year 5 and Year 6 young people

7.30 – 9.00 pm Fridays - we will be open for Year 7 to Year 12 young people

5.30 – 8.30 pm Wednesdays - we are open for Year 7 to Year 12 young people, for quiet time (studying, homework, relaxing, etc.)

As this news hasn’t come with much notice, we may have some of our Y7-12s arriving at 7.00 pm for the next couple of weeks, as this is what they are used to. We won’t turn them away if there is any doubt they would be safe on the field, so parents of Y5/6s, please come to collect your young person by 7pm for now if that would suit them better.

We are excited about the new opportunities this will give the team to make the most of our resources and spaces, and to be sure the fit of each session is exactly right for the age groups!
