Terms of Use

If you have any queries regarding the terms of use of our website, or would like any further information, feel free to contact us. If you are experiencing technical difficulties please ensure that you are running the latest version of your chosen Internet Browser - it may be that certain links are not working for you; this may be caused by filtering or blocking by anti-virus programs.

Most of the website is created using the Content Management System (CMS) named "Joomla".  This ensures that our website is compatible with all major operating systems and internet browsers - see Joomla! Core Features for more details.

Although we do all we can to ensure information on the website is accurate, relevant and up-to-date, we cannot be held responsible for any damage or inconvenience allegedly caused by published content. The website support staff reserve the right to edit posts on the site and to exclude anything that may be objectionable or offensive to many readers, especially in the Forum section.

Contributions must not contain unlawful or objectionable content nor involve disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour. Please be respectful and civil to other website users, even if you disagree with them. Material that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, offensive, abusive, hateful, inflammatory, profane, racially, sexually or religiously offensive or otherwise objectionable or unlawful is not acceptable and will not be allowed.  All advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, junk mail and any other forms of commercial solicitation are prohibited.

One of the purposes of CuddingtonandSandiwayOnline is to promote local interests. With this in mind the webteam will normally only publish items relating to people and businesses within the local parish.  If you have a complaint about a business, please raise it directly with that business rather than to attempt publicly via this website. It will be the webteam's sole decision as to whether there has been a breach of this Code of Conduct. We have the right (but not the obligation) to edit, refuse to post, or to remove any contribution in whole or in part that we deem to be in breach of the Code of Conduct.

Directories are listed of businesses and local services within the parish.  Services which do not operate from a physical 'brick and mortar' outlet which can be visited by the public (eg taxi companies, tradesmen, accountants) are excluded from these directories - the intent is to promote and reward infrastructure investment within the local community.
