Cuddington Parish Council is the most local tier of local government.  Cheshire West and Chester Council are responsible for most of the services provided in the area.  The Parish Council fills any gaps as appropriate. For example the Parish Council provides an annual grant to the Trustees of the Playing Field towards the maintenance costs of the Norley Road playing field (at the Village Hall). The Parish Council is also repaying the loan taken out to finance the building of the village hall. It also represents Parish views and objections to other bodies such as Cheshire West and Chester Council, the Police, the Housing Trust.  Council Tax payers pay a Parish Precept and elected Parish Councillors meet normally on the 3rd Monday of each month at Cuddington Village Hall commencing at 7.15pm. Members of the public are welcome to take part in the public forum at the beginning of each meeting and listen to proceedings thereafter. The Parish Council aims to be open and transparent in everything it does.

Parish Council Meetings for 2020 are (all starting at 7:15pm):

2021:    18 Jan, 15 Feb, 15 Mar, 19 April, 17 May.

Parish Council meetings are currently being held in accordance with Local Authorities and Police & Crime Panels (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority and Crime Panels Meeting) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020. This means that members of the public are invited to join the meeting via Zoom.

The Parish Council approved at the meeting held on 23rd July 2018 a set of objectives which the Council work to achieve. Allotment plots are being provided at Eden Grange, Warrington Road, Cuddington. This is a planning obligation to the Cuddington parished area.

Delivery of the allotments have been subject to delay with the latest date from Taylor Wimpey for handover in Autumn 2020. Cuddington and Sandiway Allotments Association has been formed with Officers and Committee elected. It is anticipated that the Association will run the allotments on a self financing basis.
