Robbery at Shell Station in Sandiway on Sunday evening (7 February)
The Police have confirmed that there was an robbery at the Shell Petrol Station on A49/A556 at around 9pm on Sunday evening when an intruder threatened a women who was working behind the counter and demanded that she handed over all of the cash. He then stole the money from the safe and fled the store on foot, running towards the A49, in the direction of Cuddington. Police came quickly to the scene and the Police helicopter circled overhead the village for at least 30 minutes.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a robbery. PRESS HERE for a fuller report and police appeal.
