Referendum 24th January 2019

Cuddington Neighbourhood Plan has passed its independent examination and now proceeds to Referendum.

The Neighbourhood Plan is in the Referendum Folder below ready for you to read.

The Plan along with all the associated documents is also available to read in the Sandiway Library, in Delamere Park Clubhouse and in the Cheshire West and Chester Information Centre in Northwich.

The Plan has also been posted on the Cheshire West and Chester website https://consult.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/portal/cwc_ldf/np/cuddington_ref

The Referendum date has been confirmed as 24TH JANUARY 2019 and the Polling Stations will be Cuddington Village Hall, Delamere Park Clubhouse and Sandiway Library.

The Referendum question will be:

“Do you want Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Cuddington Parish to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?”

Information on the voting process is given in the Referendum Folder.

The outcome of the Referendum will be decided by a straight majority of votes cast. If the majority of votes are YES then the Neighbourhood Plan will proceed to the next stage when it will be “Made” which means that it becomes part of the Local Planning system for use in determining planning applications.

IF YOU LIVE IN CUDDINGTON, DELAMERE PARK OR SANDIWAY, THIS IS YOUR PLAN AND YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO INFLUENCE FUTURE PLANNING DECISIONS FOR OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD AREA!!!
