Cuddington Parish Council is the most local tier of local government.  Cheshire West and Chester Council are responsible for most of the services provided in the area.  The Parish Council fills any gaps as appropriate. For example the Parish Council provides an annual grant to the Trustees of the Playing Field towards the maintenance costs of the Norley Road playing field (at the Village Hall). The Parish Council is also repaying the loan taken out to finance the building of the village hall. It also represents Parish views and objections to other bodies such as Cheshire West and Chester Council, the Police, the Housing Trust.  Council Tax payers pay a Parish Precept and elected Parish Councillors meet normally on the 3rd Monday of each month at Cuddington Village Hall commencing at 7.15pm. Members of the public are welcome to take part in the public forum at the beginning of each meeting and listen to proceedings thereafter. The Parish Council aims to be open and transparent in everything it does.

Allotments:

Allotment Plots are being provided by Taylor Wimpey at Eden Grange, Warrington Road, Cuddington. This is a planning obligation to the Cuddington parished area. The allotments plots are expected to be available early in 2019.

Starting in early 2017 a steering group prepared for eventual handover and self management. A priority list was drawn up based on the earlier the application the higher the priority.

All members of the list were summoned to a General Meeting held on 12th June 2018 for the purpose of choosing a name, approving a constitution and electing officers and a committee. The Association has now taken over and the steering group has been disbanded.  The layout of allotment plots is shown here.

Minutes from Steering Group meetings are listed under Parish Council Agenda and Minutes.
