Cuddington Parish Council is the most local tier of local government.  Cheshire West and Chester Council are responsible for most of the services provided in the area.  The Parish Council fills any gaps as appropriate. For example the Parish Council provides an annual grant to the Trustees of the Playing Field towards the maintenance costs of the Norley Road playing field (at the Village Hall). The Parish Council is also repaying the loan taken out to finance the building of the village hall. It also represents Parish views and objections to other bodies such as Cheshire West and Chester Council, the Police, the Housing Trust.  Council Tax payers pay a Parish Precept and elected Parish Councillors meet normally on the 3rd Monday of each month at Cuddington Village Hall commencing at 7.15pm. Members of the public are welcome to take part in the public forum at the beginning of each meeting and listen to proceedings thereafter. The Parish Council aims to be open and transparent in everything it does.

Allotments:

Allotment plots are being provided by Taylor Wimpey at their development site at Eden Grange, Warrington Road, Cuddington. This is a planning obligation to the Cuddington area. The allotment plots are expected to be available sometime in 2018. The Parish Council have held a waiting list for residents wishing to apply for an allotment plot.

Early in 2017 the Parish Council contacted all on the waiting list inviting them to one of two meetings held at the end of February. Formal application forms were handed out and there is now a priority list based on position on the original list i.e. the earlier on the list the higher on the priority list. A steering group of volunteers was formed which met on 19th April under the Chairmanship of John Faulkner, Parish Councillor. There are at present more plots than names on the priority list. If interested please complete and return an application form. The layout of allotment plots is shown here and other documents include the Allotment Plots Steering Group for the council and the current Allotment Plot Priority List.

Minutes from Steering Group meetings are listed under Parish Council Agenda and Minutes.
