Consultation on the Pre-Submission Draft Neighbourhood Plan
The Neighbourhood Plan sets out a vision for the future of the Parish and describes planning policies which will be used to determine planning proposals for our Neighbourhood Area for the period up to 2030. The Neighbourhood Area covers the whole parish of Cuddington, Delamere Park and Sandiway.
Once a draft Neighbourhood Plan is written it must be tested via consultation before it can be submitted to Cheshire West and Chester Council. This is known as the Pre-Submission Consultation.
The Pre- Submission version of the Draft Neighbourhood Plan has been prepared with the help of the Steering Group and the local community and is now ready for its first stage of formal consultation. Statutory bodies such as the Environment Agency, Natural England, Network Rail and Highways Agency etc must now be given a chance to comment on the Draft Plan. In addition, adjacent parish councils and voluntary bodies in our Parish together with people who live, work or carry on business in the Neighbourhood Area will be given the same opportunity.
The consultation opens for comment on Saturday 10th June 2017 and the deadline for comments to be received by Cuddington Parish Council will be 5pm on Friday 21st July 2017.
Details of how to take part in the consultation are given in the preamble to the Draft Plan. The online version of the Draft Plan together with supporting documents can be viewed or downloaded using the following links:
Printed copies of the Draft Plan and the supporting documents can also be viewed at Sandiway Library and Delamere Park Clubhouse during normal opening hours.
Comments on the Draft Plan can be submitted on the printed response form provided at the venues listed above or downloaded using the following links:
Details of how to send your comments are included on the Response Form and in the preamble to the Draft Plan.
If you wish to comment in another form by letter or email please ensure that you provide your full contact details along with the capacity in which you are responding. Please add the policy, paragraph or section number for each comment. Multiple sheets shall include your name or organisation at the top of each sheet.
After the end of the consultation period all comments will be reviewed by the Steering Group and where appropriate changes will be made to the Cuddington Neighbourhood Plan prior to its formal submission to Cheshire West and Chester Council. All comments will be tabulated together with the responses and will be publicly available on the Neighbourhood Plan section of this website.
